:: artwallproject vinyl decals ::

birch trees with leaves and birds - $125 (102 inches tall)

If you have been reading my blog for a while or know me in real life, you know I have a thing for trees. Most of the artwork in our house is of trees, which is why I have loved ArtWallProject's Etsy Store for ages.

They have the most beautiful and unique tree wall decals (among many others) for reasonable prices. I love that many of them are full wall height too, since we are looking for a floor to ceiling tree for our little one's nursery.

Check out ArtWallProject. What decal tickles your fancy? I posted my favourite last week.....I think we are finally ready to order!

:: dr. seuss wall quote ::

I love this quote from canadian wall decal company Figgy & Wink for a baby's room, child's room or a classroom. This teacher thinks that Dr. Seuss is so right. As a lifetime lover of reading, building our baby's library is one of the aspects of preparing his nursery I love the most! What's your child's favourite book?

:: litto kids ::

If you love the modern designs of Olli & Lime or Dwell Studio, you are going to love the collection from Litto Kids. This set, called Silly Owl is so deliciously retro.....it almost makes this anti-crib bedding set girl consider breaking down and buying one.....though you all know I am also in love with the new Owls Sky set from Dwell. Good thing it is not in the baby budget because I would drive myself crazy trying to decide!

:: fashion friday - maternity sweater dresses ::

Isabella Oliver. For pregnant women who love clothes.

I am loving the sweater dress and leggings look for fall, and it works so well on a pregnant figure. This gorgeous sweater dress is from the always amazing Isabella Oliver. Click on the link above to browse more of her gorgeous designs.

Or.....If you are a bargain hunter like moi, check out many of the regular stores for sweater dresses that are maternity friendly. I found a great one at H&M with an empire waist that works on me, even at 30 weeks!

I love the look of an all white room with colourful accents. This would make a very cool basement renovation project chez nous once our little guy is older!

:: wallpaper love ::

I spotted this wallpaper in Canadian Family Magazine and I am in love. It is called Enchant in Sunrise by Graham and Brown. Now to find it in Calgary.....perhaps Home Depot? I am picturing it on the back of an Expedit bookcase I plan on buying soon because I was so inspired by Centsational Girl.

If I had not already painted a feature wall in the nursery, I would have considered a wallpaper feature wall. I just love the subtlety of the pattern.

:: tree wall decals ::

Are we ready? I have had these wall decals by ArtWallProject favourited on Etsy for months now.....and with 10 weeks to go until Baby arrives, I need to finish his nursery! I might need to finally place that order this week...... What do you think? Our wall is painted a very similar shade of brown, but I think I will ask for the birds in blue.

:: back to school with Mom Agenda ::

I LOVE back to school. The smell of new school supplies, freshly sharpened pencils and smooth, blank pages in a brand-new agenda organizer.

I am loving the chic look of these agendas, made specifically for Moms by our newest blog sponsor, MomAgenda, as well as the utility of the wall calendars that can sync together the schedules of up to 5 busy family members! This list-making, morganizing crazy person will be ordering one for sure! Check out the MomAgenda website for the full selection of organization inspiration!

:: becoming a weekend blogger ::

Can you tell I went back to school this week? The lack of posts tells the story. Back to paper, back to books, back to my students shocked looks!

I went back to school on Tuesday and it was so nice to see the looks on my students' faces when they saw me and my big belly! The topic of conversation in almost all of my French classes is "le bebe" and it is so much fun to hear the kids' thoughts about babies and names.....we'll definitely have to visit once the little man makes his appearance.

I so enjoyed the summer off being pregnant. I had time to shop, research, and blog - EVERY DAY! Now that I am back to work, I think I am going to have to become a weekend blogger. I'll try and make entries every Friday, Saturday and Sunday to keep the readers happy! If you are looking for something to read during the week, you should check out my friend Lauren's new blog at http://motherwifefemale.blogspot.com ....I love her concept and look forward to following her blog!

I am off to do the flowers for my last wedding of the season - whew! Then I'll probably go to bed around 8. I live a very exciting life :p

:: feeling crafty? one pretty thing ::

I found One Pretty Thing via the Erin Vale Design Website and I am so inspired every time I visit it. If you have ever looked at something on Etsy and wished you could make it....this website can help you (be sure to browse the archives!). I love being crafty, though I am not always all that great at it, and this website is the answer to my "I-want-to-handmake-all-my-Christmas-gifts" dreams!

Enjoy.

:: DIY printables - free nursery art ::

WOOT!

Spotted on Spearmint Baby, free art downloads courtesy of the Feed Your Soul:Free Art Downloads at IndieFixx. Many of these would look uber-cool in a nursery.

I am loving these and can't wait to fill up the IKEA frames I bought with a couple of these fabulous and unique prints. Visit the website for much more cuteness.
